Calița Nantu is a graduate of the Faculty of Theatre and Film in Cluj-Napoca, where she completed her Acting studies in 2019. Her artistic path includes collaborations with state theatres such as Teatrul Regina Maria in Oradea and Teatrul Clasic “Ioan Slavici” in Arad, with which she continues to work, as well as regular involvement in the independent scene at Reactor of Creation and Experiment in Cluj.

She has collaborated with directors such as Cristian Ban, Dragoș Alexandru Mușoiu, and Leta Popescu, projects that strengthened her artistic direction and interest in contemporary forms of performance.

She currently works as a freelance artist and is expanding her practice into dramaturgy, studying in the MA program in Dramatic Writing at the University of Arts in Târgu Mureș. In film, she played Lavinia in Season 2 of the series DNA, created by Torleif Hoppe.
