Elena Emandi is an actress at Teatrul Dramatic “Fani Tardini” Galați and a graduate of the Faculty of Arts at “Dunărea de Jos” University of Galați, where she completed both her BA in Acting and her MA in Theatre and Performing Arts.

Her stage work includes a wide range of roles, from classical to contemporary characters, including Nina in The Seagull (dir. Andreea Vulpe), Alice in Alice in Wonderland (dir. Ana Maria Lambru, “Gulliver” Theatre for Children and Youth Galați), Moțata the Hen in Queen of the Night (dir. Leta Popescu), and multiple roles in The Life, Death and Resurrection of Mr. Vali Ionescu (dir. Adi Iclenzan).

She has also worked in the independent scene alongside artist Monica Turcu in Butterflies Smelled Like Fresh Grass and Glory to Romania, and played Zița in O noapte furtunoasă, directed by Alex Bogdan.

Interested in physical expression and the intersection of theatre and contemporary dance, she regularly attends workshops and training programs focused on contemporary performance practices.
